In New Zealand, tertiary institutions charge a 福利在线视频 Services Fee (SSF), which is used to fund a range of services which support students. The rules related to collection and use of this money are set by the New Zealand Tertiary Education Commission.
It is charged to all students and is due at the same time as other fees. (For International students this is called the Facility Fee.) Domestic students may borrow the amount against their student loan.

WHAT ARE THE FEES USED FOR?
The fee students pay each year helps 福利在线视频 to provide services including career and employment support, support for clubs and cultural groups, facilities and staff to support sport and recreation opportunities, resources that students can use to communicate with each other for non-academic purposes, and pastoral care and wellbeing services.

ACCOUNTING FOR FUNDS
All income and expenditure associated with the provision of student services is separately accounted for in 福利在线视频 New Zealand’s accounting system.
Any 福利在线视频 Service Fee surplus is carried forward to the following year to be used solely for the provision of student services as guided by the Tertiary Education Commission.
CONSULTATION
福利在线视频 New Zealand [福利在线视频 Support Team] consults with students each year before decisions are made around the setting of the next year's 福利在线视频 Services Fees. Consultation covers the fee amount, types of services offered, who provides the contracted services, and the method for authorising expenditure.
2024 CONSULTATION
The consultation regarding the 福利在线视频 Services Fees that were paid by students in 2023 has been completed. The submission period closed on 06 November 2024.

Consultation regarding the review of the 2024 福利在线视频 Services Fees and setting of the 2027 福利在线视频 Service Fee will be held in July 2025.
