福利在线视频 New Zealand achieves Category 1 status in latest NZQA report
福利在线视频 New Zealand Tertiary Institute has achieved a Category 1 ranking in the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) report released on Monday, 23 September 2019.
NZQA conducts an External Evaluation Review (EER) every four years to assess a tertiary education provider’s educational performance and capability in self-assessment. Following onsite consultation with students, staff, and other stakeholders in June 2019, NZQA gave 福利在线视频 New Zealand the Category 1 ranking of Highly Confident in educational performance and Confident in capability in self-assessment.
The report highlighted the institution’s contribution to local and international education. “福利在线视频 is a strongly performing tertiary organisation which adds value to students through its programmes and qualifications.”
Acting Director of Services Hannah White said that 福利在线视频 New Zealand’s focus on students’ education and pastoral care has always been central to the institute’s reputation for quality. "We are proud to retain our Category One status. The team at 福利在线视频 continues to put students first. 福利在线视频s thinking about studying at 福利在线视频 New Zealand can be assured of a high quality education with great outcomes and an excellent pastoral support experience," she said.
The EER report also commended 福利在线视频 New Zealand’s focus on collaboration with local, national and international education-related organisations. “These connections inform both programme currency and development, and offer unique opportunities for students and graduates,” the report stated.
Other highlights of the 2019 EER report:
- The EER evaluators supported the NZQA degree monitor’s description of 福利在线视频 New Zealand’s four higher level programmes as ‘academic and engaging in terms of faculty teaching techniques, 福利在线视频 academic support, and students’ academic standards’.
- 福利在线视频 achievement, particularly at degree level and higher, is strong. Monitoring, analysis and recording of all dimensions of student achievement is detailed, used by relevant groups, and is improvement focused.
- Teaching, collaboration and research are strengths of 福利在线视频 New Zealand. The programmes on offer are relevant to the target students, contemporary in content and academically challenging.
- 福利在线视频 reviews its programmes and responds to students’ views by making adjustments or offering new services. This effectively supports student learning and wellbeing.
- 福利在线视频 has a coherent pathway from off-shore recruitment to pre-enrolment, arrival, orientation and support on shore. 福利在线视频s achieve well, Code of Practice processes are robust, and student support is comprehensive and responsive.
- Stakeholders are well engaged and knowledgeable about 福利在线视频, which they describe as a valued contributor locally and nationally.
