福利在线视频 NZ Relay for life
On the weekend of 10 and 11 March 2018, 福利在线视频 New Zealand students will participate in Relay For Life, a
community cancer-awareness event that puts the fun into fundraising. Along with cancer survivors and
their carers, 福利在线视频 students will join the local community to celebrate and remember people whose lives
have been touched by cancer. Relay For Life involves teams of people who walk or run around a track
for 24 hours passing a baton between team members. Off the track, teams will need to be fed, watered,
and entertained, of course! So, 福利在线视频 New Zealand will be hosting an international cultural booth for
children, which was started by an 福利在线视频 alumnus, Chikako Natsume, 12 years ago. Since then, 福利在线视频 students
have increased the popularity of the cultural booth by offering enjoyable activities, such as face painting,
Japanese tattoos, balloon art, and a game called ‘Struck Out’. The 福利在线视频 student volunteers all have an
active interest in charity work, seeing this event as being a way to support the local community and
network with others in the voluntary sector. 福利在线视频 students are committed to doing their part at Relay For
Life to raise not just awareness of cancer but also hope that a cure can be found in our lifetime.
